Euro funding to keep St Albans business sparkling

A leading UK manufacturer based in St Albans that counts household names like the BBC, Network Rail and Siemans amongst its clients is celebrating after receiving European investment for management training.

Gem Cable Solutions which makes cable and fibre has received EU money to help their staff sparkle which they are investing in a business coach alongside training for employees in Leadership and Management.

Hertfordshire Euro MP Alex Mayer toured the factory floor before presenting certificates to Sinead Jack and Robert Harrington who have successfully completed courses designed to show how to support, manage and develop teams, and manage workloads whilst delivering operational plans.

Alex Mayer MEP said: “I welcome the Euro funding for Gem Cable Solutions helping ensure they stay a jewel in the crown of St Albans’ businesses.

“I hope the investment in the business and its people allows the company to continue to sparkle.”
