Managing Director of Optimal Technologies Dean Thompson will show Ms Mayer around the new premises and explain to the Euro MP how the company, which employs 30 skilled engineers, is now able to build more and larger machines and plans to take on additional staff.

Dean Thompson, Managing Director said: “We supply some of the largest global companies in the fields of precision optics, ophthalmic lens and medical devices. Our new site means we can provide more and larger machines into these industries.

“The site also allows continued growth in the recruitment of skilled people in the engineering design and technical assembly areas, and our recent move to both sponsor from abroad and train local talent in apprenticeship courses.”
